Spice blend for Salads & Savories
It is a perfect blend of 12 Ingredients
INGREDIENTS:- Cumin seeds, Coriander seeds, Red chili, Iodized Salt, Black Salt, Black Pepper, Mint Leaves, Asafetida, Clove, Dry Mango, Dry Ginger and Carom.
- Chaat masala is rich in iron and calcium because of the ingredients like dry mango powder, cumin seeds and Asafetida. And cumin seeds are also rich in minerals and magnesium.
- Chaat masala powder is full of vitamins - Cumin seeds are a good source of Vitamin A. Red chilli has Vitamin A and C, which is great for immunity. Coriander is also a great source of Vitamin C.
- Indian spices generally have the presence of antioxidants, and so chaat masala also has antioxidants. Asafetida (Hing) is a source of ferulic acid, which removes free radicals that causes cancer in the body.
- Black pepper works wonders in improving the digestion process. Black pepper and coriander have been proved beneficial in reducing bloating and flatulence.
- The presence of a compound in cumin has been proved to eliminate high blood sugar level symptoms.
Aloo Chat
- Take 1½ potato per person. Peel and cut into ¾ inch cubes. Heat sufficient quantity of edible oil or ghee in a frying pan & fry potato pieces on low flame till they are golden & tender. Strain & transfer into a large bowl. Add 1 tspn. cascab Chat Masala & 2 tspn lemon juice or add salt as per your test. Stir well & serve hot.
To make FRUIT CHAT
- take 1½ cup per person, peeled & de-seeded assorted fruits, cut into ¾ inch pieces & add cascab Chat Masala & lemon juice.
Sprinkle over waffers,
- savouries, fried nuts, grilled or roasted delicacies such as Tikkas, Kababs, fruit or vegetable salads, sandwiches etc.
