  • • Cook dish as you normally do.
  • • Sprinkle 1-2 teaspoon around 2-3 minutes before taking the dish off the flame

SAMBHAR MASALA ( सांभर मसाला )

Blend of Spices for Sambhar.


Ingredients :


Coriander, Red Chili, Cumin, Turmeric, Black Paper, Asafoetida, Fanngreek, Dry Ginger, Caraway, Turmeric, Star, Aniseed, Cassia Leaf, Black Cardamom, Poppy Seed, Salt.


A Perfect Bland mix of total-19 ingredients use this cascab Sambhar masala


Recipe :


Soak dal for 30 mins. Boil the soaked dal for about 10 mins. Now add pieces of drumstick, brinjal, pumpkin and onion. Add thick tamarind juice, red chilli powder & salt. Add Cascab Sambhar Masala. Heat oil separately. Add red chilli, fenugreek, mustard, curry leaves, a pinch of asafoetida. Now pour into the sambhar and boil for 2 mins.
